Knight Point State Park opened in 1978. The rocky shoreline is the largest undisturbed area of this natural community on Lake Champlain and houses several rare plant species. There is a short walking trail that leads out to the point, as well as a swimming beach and boat rental. The park also houses the Island Center for Arts and Recreation.
